    Nexus Education is an After School, Online and School Holiday tutoring and education centre.

    Our qualified educators, undergraduate and peer tutors, teach, guide and encourage students with their homework and day to day areas of study outside the boundaries of the classroom.

    Utilising our student centred teaching expertise, we aim to provide a benefit to families overseas who are preparing their children for study abroad. We help students improve their educational performance in a personalised way to achieve their goals.

    Nexus Policies


    Onsite Class Attendance Policy

    ● The absent message must be sent to our administrator if a student is unable to attend a class for any reason.

    ● We require 24 hours’ notice for non-attendance of a class, except medical reason.

    ● A limit of 2 classes of cancellation per student per school term. The class credits will be applied to the following school term.

    ● A credit may be considered if a student missed three consecutive weeks for a medical reason, upon presentation of a a doctor certificate. If approved there is an administration fee of $10.

    ● If a student is not able to complete a term or misses their lesson time for any reason, there will be no refund. 

    Online Class Attendance Policy

    Parents are advised to notify the Nexus Online Coordinator or Nexus Admin to cancel a class within 24 hours of their child’s scheduled online lesson start time.  

    1.Late Cancellations
    Nexus Education recognises that sometimes advanced notice is not possible in the case of illness or an emergency. Therefore appointments cancelled within three hours of the appointment’s schedule start time is considered a Late Cancellation.  

    2.Cancellation Fee
    Two Late Cancellations per cycle permitted – no charge.
    Any further Late Cancellations will be charged a cancellation fee of $20.

    3.No Shows
    If your child does not join their online class within 15 minutes of the lessons scheduled start time, they will be considered a No Show. Tutors will not be available for a student who arrives more than 15 minutes late for his/her class and the lesson will be terminated.

    4.No Show Fee
    One No Show permitted per cycle – In the case of an emergency – no charge.
    Any further No Show will be charged at the lessons usual hourly rate.

    Free Trail Policy

    Free trail is available with conditions apply. 
    During the trial weeks in the school term, you will be entitled to a free trial if next term payment made in full within 48 hours after trial class.
